What is the Yield Check – and what is it not?
The Yield Check is a performance evaluation for solar electric systems. Absolutely no hardware is required. The check is carried out remotely relying on solar radiation information from the national weather satellite. In the comparison of solar yields and solar radiation reference values, a measure of long-term technical performance is obtained. The objective is to quantify and evaluate energy output from photovoltaic systems. This approach is complementary, but no replacement to monitoring. The prompt detection and response to malfunctions is not within the scope of the Yield Check. Rather, it's an alternative point of view on monitoring. The Yield Check is a performance evaluation addressing the financial investor, not the engineer.

What services can I expect in the future?
The Yield Check will offer a comparison of nominal and actual solar yields. In the direct comparison it is determined whether performance meets expectations. All results are summarized in a final Yield Check report.
